The blood drive is coming up, and they just put up the sign-up sheets on the lunchroom bulletin board. Really? Great, I'll remember to sign up after lunch. Mmhmm. | I didn't know you donate blood, Elisa. WHat about you, Zach? Are you going to give? Oh, No. I don't give blood. Why not? It doesn't hurt that bad. I... just can't imagine myself giving blood... No, Zach... | Hey doc, do you expect this to hurt? This isn't going to hurt at all. I, uh, don't think it would be good for my health... Meanwhile... | Meanwhile... Maybe I should be a part of the blood drive. After all, I should do something to help people that need it... Now, who should I sign up to donate blood? I think Jane can donate... and Mr. Albatross too... and maybe... Zachary Elli | Zach! He's pretty big, so he must have lots of blood. I'm sure he'll be okay with giving away some of it. Hey Zach! I'm really glad you changed your mind about donating. Hmm? Yeah, I saw your name on the list. I think it's great! I didn't sign up for the blood drive... You didn't? but your name is on the list. My name is where?! yeah, I saw it when I was signing up. You didn't know about this? No, I didn't! Who would have signed me up? That's not how charity works. Really? But I'm helping people. Isn't that what charity means? But anyway, I also filled out the paperwork and turned it all in for you. You what?! Yeah, and I even got Jerry to forge your signature on them. ... It sure feels good to do good, doesn't it? Well, I got to go now. Ta ta! I can't believe that I chickened out of giving blood... I mean, I never chicken out on anything, you know? WHat about last year, when you chickened out on cow-tipping? Yes, and how you fled from Lady Gaga when she held that concert here a while ago? or how- | Okay, you've made your point, guys. It's okay, Zach. We all have something we're deathly afraid of. And for the record, I totally understand why you're afraid of Lady Gaga. Yes, she is a frightening one. | You got that right. Although I do support the cause, I can't run that far. | So, I heard that the Race for the Cure is coming up. You guys thinking about running? | I would probably just end up passing out after the first three kilometers... Meanwhile... | Meanwhile... You know, since I helped with the blood drive... Maybe I should participate in the race for the cure too! But who at our school can run the full race...? Wait, I know who could! Elisa and Des! After all, they look athletic enough.
